The Kirène Group took part in an ecological day organized by the NGO “Nebeday” at the eco-tourism camp for the women of Popenguine “Ker Cupaam”.
This was an opportunity to bring together local traders at the level of the “organic market”. The women were able to exhibit and market their products resulting from the transformation of local products.
It was a real pleasure for the Group to accompany this event during this family weekend and to participate in several workshops such as: The production of compost, the production of bio-charcoal, the incentive for planting nurseries, the production improved fireplaces as well as bird watching and ornithological initiation.
In addition to these workshops, a hike took place through the Popenguine reserve. A weekend rich in education on ecological and sustainable alternatives for the preservation of the environment.
